It’s Tutorial Tuesday and I have another stitch pattern to share with you all! If you missed last week, don’t worry, you can catch the video over on my Youtube Channel HERE. It’s the Slip Stitch Crunch Stitch, one of my absolute fav stitches.
This week, we have the Alternating Front and Back Loop Extended Single Crochet. A quick and easy stitch pattern that’s perfect for socks, sweaters, and shawls.
You’ll get a lot of texture for very little work…and that’s my favorite part! Just by switching the loop you work in, you are able to achieve amazing texture!

Looking for the written directions:
Chain a multiple of 2+1 sts.
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across.
Row 2: Ch 1, Esc in first st, *esc in blo of next st, esc in flo of next st; rep from * across to last st, esc in last st.
Repeat Row 2 for your pattern.
