- Week 1 (June 1st – June 7th):
- Saturday, June 1st: The first video tutorial will be released! Let the mindful rhythm of your hook begin.
- Tuesday, June 4th: The second square video tutorial will be available. Continue your meditative stitching journey.
- Connect & Share: We encourage you to share your progress, yarn choices, and any moments of creative insight using our dedicated hashtag (#MountainMeditationsCAL) on your favorite social media platforms. We’ll be following along and finding inspiration in your work!
- Week 2 (June 8th – June 14th):
- Saturday, June 8th: Time for square number three, complete with its video guide.
- Tuesday, June 11th: The fourth square pattern tutorial will be released.
- We’ll continue to engage with you online, providing support and answering any queries as you find your stitching flow.
- Week 3 (June 15th – June 21st):
- Saturday, June 15th: Square five is here! Let the texture and pattern guide your focus.
- Tuesday, June 18th: We’ll release the video for our sixth square.
- Mid-CAL Check-in: Keep an eye out for a special video where we’ll pause, reflect on our progress, answer common questions, and offer gentle encouragement.
- Week 4 (June 22nd – June 28th):
- Saturday, June 22nd: It’s time for square number seven!
- Tuesday, June 25th: The eighth square video will be released.
- We’ll continue our online support and engagement as your throw takes shape.
- Week 5 (June 29th – July 5th):
- Saturday, June 29th: Welcome square number nine!
- Tuesday, July 2nd: The tenth square video tutorial will be available.
- Week 6 (July 6th – July 12th):
- Saturday, July 6th: Let’s tackle square eleven!
- Tuesday, July 9th: The final individual square video tutorial will be released – square twelve, the culmination of your mindful stitching.

July 2025: Connecting the Peaks
- Week 7 (July 13th – July 19th): Joining the Landscapes!
- We’ll release a comprehensive video tutorial demonstrating our preferred method for joining your beautifully crocheted squares, connecting each unique element of your meditative creation.
- Written instructions for various joining techniques will also be shown, allowing you to choose the method that resonates with your personal style.
- We’ll also share our gentle guidance on weaving in ends and the grounding practice of blocking your squares for a harmonious finish.
- Week 8 (July 20th – July 26th): Framing the Horizon!
- A new video tutorial will guide you through creating a serene border for your Mountain Meditations Throw, framing your collection of stitches.
- Instructions for the featured border, along with ideas for variations, will be shown to personalize your tranquil creation.
- Keep sharing photos of your connected squares – we’re inspired by the unique landscapes you’re creating!
- Week 9 (July 27th – August 2nd): Completing the Sanctuary!
- Our final video will cover all the essential “finishing touches,” including detailed tips for blocking your completed throw and caring for your handmade sanctuary of stitches.
- We’ll also begin to share the peaceful and inspiring finished projects from our community – a testament to mindful making.

August 2025: Celebrating Your Sanctuary
- We’ll create a dedicated online space – an album or gallery – to showcase the incredible finished Mountain Meditations Throws from all our participants, a collection of handmade serenity.
- Look out for a special wrap-up video or blog post where we’ll reflect on our shared journey, celebrate your achievements, and highlight the beautiful sanctuaries of stitches you’ve created.
- We may even host a virtual “show and tell” event where you can share your throws and the moments of peace you found in their creation.
